Free Wi-Fi in Starbucks
Wow, this is a cool news for you coffee buffs.. Starbucks Stores starting from June 3rd, will be giving two hours of free Wi-Fi access per day to any Starbucks Card owner who uses the card for other store purchases at least once a month. This is not a promotional gimmick that just is limited to allow PC data cards or Apple’s iTunes-only usage like the one initiated last time, very unlike to that, this free Wi- Fi link will be available to any 802.11 device.

EEE PC 1000
ASUS Eee PC 1000 has more than a larger display to its attraction, when it gets showcased tomorrow. One of their model is likely to support up to 2GB memory, the model name is EEE PC 1000H, this will also hold 80GB hard drive in Windows XP form, this has led to removing the flash used in smaller models and providing four times the space of the 8.9-inch model’s 20GB of flash storage.

With the provision for 802.11n Wi-Fi and a relatively long 3.2 to 5 hours of battery life the new versions are improved substantially.
Eee PC 1000 also has a 1.3-megapixel camera, Intel Atom processor, and a card reader. These will be available with Linux.

| R&B superstar Usher is teaming with Sony Ericsson to promote its new Walkman music phone in the U.S., Canada and 20 European countries. The phone will come loaded with Usher ringtones and full-album downloads. The marketing campaign will allow users access to exclusive content, a chance to meet Usher on video shots and a chance to win VIP tickets for Usher's North American tour later this year, which is sponsored by Sony Ericsson. Fans will also be able to vote on what bands Usher will go on tour with. Usher will work with AT&T in marketing efforts to help sell the cell phones. Survey by Mobixell Shows Potential for Ad-Sponsored Rich Media Services
Mobixell Networks, provider of mobile multimedia and advertising solutions, announced a new UK survey. The survey, taken by 832 mobile phone users, reveals a sizeable opportunity exists among the 16-34 year-old demographic to offer ad-funded mobile content via rich media services like multimedia messaging or mobile video services.
